How do I disable the factory alarm for a 2001 acura cl?

HI,

Last week my acura cl alarm went crazy, it goes off whenever it feels like it. I got fed up with getting up to and pressing the unlock/lock button on the remote to shut the alarm off so i decided to remove the horn relay so that i wont annoy my neighbors.

Can anyone tell me how to shut off the alarm with the remote or what other solutions to resolve the craziness? the alarm is a factory alarm that goes off with the horn.

Unplug the hood switch. The alarm cannot arm if the hood is popped.

Car 1: 08 tl
Car 2: f150
by unplug the hood switch you are still tell the alarm to arm but if you jump the switch
at the connecter the alarm thinks the hood is open and will not set but all the keyless should work still

Take the key and stick in the keyhole on the outside of the passenger door

Turn the key doing unlock-lock-unlock fairly quickly

ive been having problems with my 01 acura cl alarm, it does not arm, i keep reading about the hood switch going bad but i can not find a switchon my car, please help.
