How were the louver kits attached?

I finally found louvers for the Integra and I'm going to go pick them up in about two weeks. After looking at some pictures, all I see is double-sided tape along the borders and some l-brackets near the back fo the car. I'm just not sure if that's exactly how they were supposed to be attached to the tail-gate. Would you be able to describe how these are supposed to be fixed to the hatch?

Thanks in advance,
Gino

For this, I'm really going to have to go to the Dead Sea scrolls of parts, as there's nothing around on this that's not in a print form, from close to 20 years ago.

Good thing I've been here for almost 14 years . Let me see what I can dig up.

were all oem honda/acura louvers attached the same way? I noticed that mine are missing some clips that go over some bolts and I'm curious to know if i can find these clips from the dealer.

There's a chance I may be able to get a copy of the original install instructions in a paper format. If you have a fax number, email it to me at hondacuraworld@aol.com
