Mom backed into my car....and now the key won't turn!

i never knew this place existed or i would have registered alonggggg time ago.

I own a 2005 Acura RSX, 4-cylinder, and at 5:30AM TODAY, when my mom goes to work, she accidentally backed into the side of my car (right side of the trunk area).

Damage isn't big, there's a dent, but that's pretty much it. The friggin alarm didn't even sound.

But, when i went in to start my car, i put my keys in the ignition and it won't move. completely stuck at the I position.

I also notice that the red light for the anti-theft continues to blink. but i don't remember if it always did that even with the car unlocked or if it blinks only when it's locked.

is there a way to get my keys to move in the ignition? is this some safety/security feature? if it is, how do i disable it? i googled around thinking it was some security thing and other cars have ways to bypass it, ei)manually lock and unlock the passenger door etc.
i also checked the manual online at acura.com but it doesn't say anything about my situation. or maybe i just didn't quite understand the terminology used there.

please help! i won't be able to go to school on monday or church on sunday if this problem won't go!

thank you SO MUCH in advance.

p.s. and no...i don't have warranty anymore, aughhh i don't know what to do. or how much it'd be if it's unfixable and i have to take it somewhere.

I'm going to guess that the car moved just enough to put your steering gear in a bind against the locking mechanism. You will have to figure out which direction to put pressure on the steering wheel to turn it to free the key lock up enough to turn.
