questions reguarding 2011 rdx

I have 2 questions regarding my 2011 rdx; 1; I have almost 29,000 miles on this vehicle and i was wondering 1: at approx. how many miles should i do a coolant system flush and 2: at approx how many miles should i do a transmission fluid change?; keep in mind this when replying: I live in the very hot during the summer state of Arizona; thanks for any info, etc anyone can give me.

We're in Arizona as well, Acura of Peoria

Go by your Maintenance Minder, and you'll be fine. The coolant will give a sub-code 5, and the transmission, sub-code 3.

Yup. Follow the maintenance minder, however kinda old school train of thought on my part: do the ATF around 15-20k (habit formed when Honda was having a lot of AT issues), the coolant around 5-ish years or basically when I do the timing belt and water pump. Replace with Honda Type II coolant. I even run the Honda Type II coolant in my HD rig (Silverado 2500HD. No more dexcool eating the sealants away, plus generally cooler temps too!)

hey tim; speaking of acura of peoria; THAT is just where i got my rdx from. Like the sales staff and the service people especially. Very helpful dealer/ Thanks for the info btw. But according to the 2nd post that says replace trans fluid at 15-20K miles; I think i am way overdue for it; but for some reason the dealer never told me i needed to get it done so i dunno. Must not of needed it per the maintennce minder system
