Service engine light...07 TSX

I changed out the factory oil at 5,000 miles for Amsoil extended service. The service engine light has now come on, so I called the dealer where I bought it and was told I had to bring it in to get the light reset. I asked them to tell me how to do it, as I will need to reset it a few times between changes and was told it was too hard to explain over the phone. Do you have printed instructions that you can post or email ?? The dealer where we bought the car isn't close to us and I don't want to be making special trips there just to reset a light.
Thanks....

Press and hold the trip/reset button, turn the ignition switch ON (II), and continue to hold the button for more than 10 seconds.

Voila

I tried your instructions and it didn't work.
The dealer said the 07's aren't the same as previous models and are harder to reset. Is there something different I can try ??

Came across this, even though the Interactive Network still shows the above.....

The vehicle must be stopped to reset the display.

If a required service is done and the display is not reset, or if the maintenance display is reset without doing the service the system will not show the proper maintenance timing. This can lead to serious mechanical problems because there will be no accurate record of when the required maintenance is needed.

The engine oil life and maintenance item(s) can be reset independently only with the HDS.

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

If system message(s) are displayed, press the INFO knob to cancel the display.

Push and release the SELECT/RESET knob repeatedly until the engine oil life indicator is displayed.

Press and hold the SELECT/RESET knob for about 10 seconds, the ''SETUP'' mode display appears.

NOTE:

If you are resetting the display when the engine oil life is more than 15 %, make sure any maintenance item(s) requiring service are done before resetting the display.

To cancel the ''SETUP'' mode, press the INFO knob repeatedly until the ''CANCEL'' indicator is displayed, then press the SELECT/RESET knob.

OK, the service engine message went away with that procedure, but it didn't reset the oil life to 100%. Should it have done that too or did I not do it right ??

From what I gather from the instructions, that does happen when you reset the indicator, which if you think about it makes perfect sense.
