Smile Timing Belt Replacement

I am looking to buy a 97 2.2 CL with 124K and it has not had the timing belt replaced yet. My questions are:
1) What parts should be replaced when doing the belt? Water Pump? Balancer? Seals? or other items.
2) What would a dealer charge for the total job?

I think the water pump is a must since this is not something you want to do any time soon after doing the belt.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Timing belt replacement

I have a 99 3.2 TL and the maintenance manual required the timing belt to be replaced at 105,000 miles as well as the water pump. Being that they would have to remove the water pump to replace the timing belt, it's good to replace it at that time so you won't have to worry about replacing it in the future.

Parts and labor will vary widely according to the prevailing labor rates in your area. That's not to say that you can't go to any skilled automotive shop and have it done, but if you do, make sure they have a crankshaft holder tool, or they will never get that belt changed.
