Wiring help
Hello, new to the forum and I joined to try to get some help. I"m working on a friends sandrail powered by a 1999 3.2 Acura normally aspirated engine. It has a stock engine management computer. My friend wants to add a tachometer but, we have no ides which wire in the loom controls the tach.
There are 51 wires in the loom going to the computer so,,if anyone has information, it will be greatly appreciated thanks in advance Larry |

The tachometer drive circuit (part of the main circuit) receives pulses from the PCM. The solid-state tachometer then displays these pulses as engine speed. For each 200 pulses per minute from the PCM the tachometer displays 100 RPM.
