That's up to the dealer. For free, the chances are zero, because they're not factory parts, you didn't buy them from the dealer, and they will not want to take on the liability of installing aftermarket HID.

There's a lot of heat to be dealt with there, and something not made expressly for your car opens the dealership to a lot of risk and liability involving making things fit that aren't directly engineered for your vehicle.

What kind of car is this, anyway?

Not to jump on this "Dealer Thread" but 12000K Bulbs are NOT going to be brighter - they're just going to be annoyingly Purple - and very low lumen output (quantity of light).

For a good, in-depth article on HID lighting, check out:
http://www.team-integra.net/sections...?ArticleID=973

I went with a complete retro-fit projector / HID kit from a custom builder in CT (retro-solutions) and am very satisfied with the results.

whatever john! your a numba 1 todd fan!

marvr94: why don't you just install it yourself? you basically just have to plug them in.....plus, it doesn't take that long. unless, your like john that takes 30minutes to take off the bumper.

12000 K bulbs are goin to have the blueish look to them that I like.I would do it myself but it looks like alot of work. The last thing I wanna do is to try to do it myself, and then it doesnt work and bring it to the dealer anyways. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Xenon...spagenameZWDVW

Trust me, Marv - those 12,000K bulbs are going to be purple and the light output is going to be less than stock halogens. But it's your $$$ - both for the HID now and the tickets you're going to get when THE MAN spots you cruising down the highway.

Good luck!

IMO I think your better off with a 6000k which give your that white with a blueish light, where the 8000k would be more blue with some white, anything above is going to blueish, with purple.

If your driving around at night, with hardly any street lights on you won't be able to see to well with the 12000k they are mainly for show.

Even car that came with HID like the S2000, TSX etc are using 4100k to 4800k somewhere around there, the reason why they have a bluish tint is not becuase of the capsule (the bulbs) is because of the projector.
