New to the community

Greetings all,

Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone (although looks like there's not too much activity here)
I'll be registering on acura-legend as well, I just can't get to that from work >_<

Not currently driving our favorite vehicle, although I own one - my '89 coupe needs an engine swap. The guy I bought it from screwed it up pretty badly, but I only spent $600 for a body in excellent shape, with the interior almost completely restored - all the leather reupholstered and everything.
I'll end up spending another ~$2k on it, but that's for a low-mileage JDM engine + labor. I don't trust myself for something that big yet.

Can't wait to get it running though, I really love the Legends.

and on another topic, anyone seen the new NSX yet? I spent enough time drooling over it yesterday

to Acura World!!

There are plenty of places to swap an engine around. Some of the folks here can be more than I can be, so be patient and the info will come.

Legends are truly one of great classic cars of all time, and glad to have you here!

Welcome!

Interesting that you cannot access A-L from work but AW you can...I have found that they go hand in hand in most places for me...i.e. If I can access one, I can access the other and vise versa...

I always figured it was because they were owned by the same folks

Well, it's weird. I can hit the front page, but none of the forums.
I think the site filter here sees "vbulletin" in the URL and gives me the finger.

Oh well. I can access it via the iphone, albeit slow. And it'll kill my IRC and IM clients. So maybe I won't until I ditch this for the Nokia N95. Then mobile forum goodness will be mine!
