Oil Leak and burning smell

Are there any common problems with the G1's leaking oil? I haven't had this one very long, but it seems its leaking more and more oil. I can't really see where it is coming from, well I really haven't had much time to spot it out. Also after driving for a few minutes, I come to a stop and smell a burning smell from under the hood. Anyone had this problem, or know if this is a common problem? Just let me know and what it might be if anyone might know.
Dave

By the way, I'll be selling this one in a few weeks if anyone might be interested. I'll come up with picks sometime.

Valve cover gaskets and the "plates" below. Is your G1 a coupe? Automatic? Mileage?

I say the same thing, Valve cover gaskets. The rear. next to the fire wall. dripping onto the exhaust pipe burning the smell to your nostril fromthe vents. you can get it fixed, tightened, or a temporary smell solution is to clean that area with engine cleaner and water.

I really appreciate that. I'll give it a try. The Legend is a 90' Dark Green LS, automatic, 4-door with 235,000 miles. Its in really good condition. But this is probably the wrong forum to be selling it. I'll try to come up with more picks later on.
Thanks again.
