Check to see if you can hear any sound from antenna when you turn the radio on, if there is any sound then your connection may well be right at the back of your radio. If there is no sound at all then I would 1st try checking the antenna power wire (not the thick antenna wire) that is located at the back of your radio, if it is connected or not - only do this if your radio is not original honda radio meaning; someone may have messed around with wires and did connect the antenna wire. Secondly try connecting another radio to see if it fixes the probem. Otherewise the antenna may need to be opened and checked for wear and tear, that happens most of time with its drive wheel teeth in which case it becomes unfixable and there becomes the need to buy another one, if there are no exessive wear, then greasing it may do the job. The place to buy a replacement antenna would be Honda wreckers for second hand one, or new from dealer that cost $$$$$. The best option would be to get a universal antenna but make sure it is a 3 wire antenna, as thats whats only compatible with Honda Legend 90. Installation is not hard, you just need to unscrew the old one and screw the new one and plugging its wires.
If you are not really familiar with installation of radio then I would not expect you to try opening your front dash, as it may get complicated for you, when you open the front of your dash and see your radio system wires.
