Should I Buy This 90' Legend?

hey, im new to the forum and just recently started researching about the Legends
i am looking for a daily driver that i can use for university, so i am looking for something that will last me for 4-5 years
i would love to get my hands on a Legend and found one in my price range on autotrader
here are the details posted on autotrader:
"1990 ACURA LEGEND, 2 door, fully loaded, remote starter, sunroof, alarm system, leather interior, don't have to spend a penny, $3,995."

i phoned this guy up and he told me there was 240 000kms / 150 000miles on the odo.

what do you guys think about this car?
will it last any longer considering the mileage?
is the mileage high for this car? because i know the Legends are renowed for their quality and reliablity.

thanks for the help

i will definately be negotiating the price but my main concern is the reliability
right now i drive a 92 plymouth colt with 192 000kms on it
i want to invest in a car that will for sure last me a good 4-5 years without major problems
God Damn i love that coupe!

If there are no engine codes then it should be a good car. Just make sure timing belt and water pump have been changed recently. If not changing them will cost you another $500+ at the dealer. To check engine codes look under the carpet in the passenger footwell (you can lift the carpet from under the glove box. it is held down by velcro. There is a small screen there. Check if the red light is blinking)

Does the ABS still function? Check to see if the ALB fuses are still in the underhood fusebox. Peopl remove them when the ABS takes a dive. The ALB light on the dash will light, but that is easily disabled.
Start it up when it's cold...like the morning. You'll find out if the valve lash adjusters make a racket.
Other than issues already brought up like the timing belt, I'd be concerned about the auto transmission. Seems to be one of the most frequent topics.
Good Luck!(with the car and school...)

I dont know if there is a limit. Basically if you maintain these cars I expect them to last forever (of course if you are like me you will fix everything that goes wrong as soon as they do. If you do this you can expect to use this car forever ).
