Speedometer Click?
My 90 Legend LS Coupe has developed a 'click' consistent with road speed that seems to come from the left front. It is sometimes there, sometimes not. Typically it will be present when I first start the car and often disappear after the first stop. The mechanic could find nothing wrong with the whells, etc. and suggested that the speedometer cable may be at fault. Anyone run into that problem with a Legend or any other car?

Does your speedo arrow bounce up and down at all ?? That happened on my '90LS Coupe. On my '89LS Coupe I'd get a whistling sound that would increase and decrease as the speed of the car went up and down. Both times I had the speedo cable fixed/replaced and it solved the problem. There are some DIY's here for regreasing it..but if you're not mechanically inclined then the dealer cost to fix should be under $ 200.00 including labor. Good luck. John

My Legend has the bouncing and clicky speedo. New cables are on the short list to purchase.
