Had enough of Legend AC

These cars have been great to me.. except in the summer, when the ac works rarely. This summer I replaced the expansion valve (OEM), evaporator, dryer, condenser, all seals. It worked for a few weeks, then stopped working all together. Blower works- but hot air comes out. Also noticed the rad cooling fan runs on "high" which it normally doesn't.
I had a faulty thermostat around the same time which I replaced, and mixed two different coolants. Bad move from what I read. Does the type of coolant used effect temperature and would that let the rad fan run on high?

I'm so sick of this problem it's not even funny- really close to smashing the whole thing. Is it the fan relay control unit? Coolant? coolant temp sensor? evap temp sensor? tripple pressure switch?

Stupid questions: Did you check the freon level and did you check for leaks? Look for the easy stuff first. Looks like you change just about everything that could be changed.

Good luck

Yes- to the best of of what I could, I checked for leaks (with detector etc), freon level on high and low side, oil, etc when recharging the system. By the way, the issue I'm having is on a 91 legend L- no automatic climate control. The recharge was performed when the compressor was actually kickin in, and it works fine- cold air.
After coming across an acura service bulletin and checking out the fan control unit, I noticed the compressor kicks on and off when fumbling around with that unit- there may be a cracked solder joint within. I'm going to replace the unit and pray that will address the issue. The fan control unit is located passenger side, under dash next to the ECM.
IF ANYONE HAS ONE OF THESE THINGS that they are willing to sell, PM me.
thanks
