my 91 will only start in the cold morning or the cold night, it will not start in the middle of the day if it is warm or hot? the check engion light stays on and will not let the car start when its cold it will turn off and she purrs. :wtf: is this a spark plug problem? i am lost please help?
Hi - Not certain what is wrong, but I would start by having the Main Relay checked out. It is up under the left side of the dash. A service manual or diagram maybe on this site can help you locate it. They can be heat sensitive as they age. Sometimes when they get warm, solders can loosen up inside them; causing ignition failure. Once they cool off, they can work again.I think they also run the fuel pump on some early legends. Good Luck
