High Offset Aftermarket Wheels Built Exclusively for Acura Vehicles!

Hey guys,

I work for a wheel company who has addressed the problem of hard to find offsets and if my sources are correct, its pretty hard to find a wheel close to the stock OEM offset of the Legend's 60mm offset. The company, RonJon wheels, build wheels exclusively for Acura vehicles. The offsets are 50mm for most Acuras and they are hubcentric too, which means no vibrations usually associated with moderate soeeds and aftermarket wheels. Heres the link to the sponsored sale and there are more pics on the actual website.

I posted a response in your other thread. If you could answer the questions I posted that would be great.

FYI: They wont fit the Legend due to the fact that the Legend has a Larger hub size than all the newer Acuras.

Yea, but it wouldn't suprise me if you could bore the hub out like what you guys do w/ the TL wheels

Yeah, probably so. But I don't see many people doing that with a brand new rim.

WOW!

Check out their website now... They have a new 3 piece forged "Devotion" 19x8-8.5 rim with a 2 inch lip. I think you can custom order the hub bore and offset to whatever you want.I'm trying to figure out what is the widest that will fit on a Legend.

19x8.5, 50mm offset?

I am SERIOUSLY considering buying a set of these! Just wondering what color would look best on a pearl off-white car.... I definately want a chrome lip, but the face I dunno what finish to pick.
I'm down to these four: your opinions WELCOME
1. Gunmetal
2. Satin Machine
3. Silver
4. All Chrome

I'm leaning toward the gunmetal,I think it would match but maybe that's too trendy and I'll get tired of it after a couple months... I like the chrome, but might be too BLING BLING. Could someone post pics of white cars with gunmetal/chrome rims?

BTW, will 245/35/19 fit on a Legend with some fender rolling?? What size would be a stretched tire on a 8.5 wide rim? I want to go just slightly wider offset than flush with a stretched tire look.

These rims are just baaad.

The website says that double 5 spoke w/ a polished lip only come in 5x120 for the new RL, and the only size listed is 19x8.5 (which you will have a hard time fitting with a +47 offset).

Other than that, I am unimpressed with the other two wheel options RonJon has.

their website has them pictured on newer CL and TL's as well. (same as Legend?) The silver car above is an 01-03 CL. I'm pretty sure you can get whatever width, offset, and center bore you like. They are custom built to order. Hopefully RONJON Rep will step in and verify this.

I love the Devotion wheel in the 3 piece, but the Detail King is correct. Rims for the Legend must have a centerbore of at least 70 mm. I got my new rims bored out from 64.1 to 70.1 for $100 at a local machine shop. The only thing is that I'm not sure of on these RJ wheels is the cost. I mean they look perfect for Acuras, but if they're $500+ per wheel then I'd probably have to pass. (The site says call for price.$$$$$)

Yeah, Everyone is aware of that. This is an older thread that was bumped up. The Ronjon rep originally thought the Legend had the same center hub bore as the other Acuras. Maybe they can make them with a larger hub size, but you'd probably need to call to check.

got an e-mail back from Ronjon. Trying to remember what it said... I'll post it when I'm at work tonight, but the short version... If anyones interested in these rims They can do a GB on 4+ sets. Rim prices are steep @$750-$900ea. depending on choice of finish.

HOLY Sheeeiit!!
That seems REALLY steep to me, but I don't know what 3pc rims go for.

It's ALL custom made, so they can do 70.1 mm hub bore, but the offset has to be either 47mm or 57mm no in-between, something about because the lip is in 1/2 inch increments. So it would be a 2" lip all around. I asked about the staggered fit in the pics 2.5 lip back, 1.5 front for a BBK, and they advised against it on a Legend. Mainly because of tire rotation, and it's unnecessary...I'm guessing BBK will still fit? If there is any GB interest I will post exact prices later tonight.
