It depends on how many miles are on the car. I would not use synthetic on old engine, especially if you have any leaks. Use a brand name 5W30 or 10W30 motor oil. and a new oil filter. You'll be on good shape.
If you are burning oil, go to 20W50 weight motor oil. Its thicker and will not burn off as fast. Good Luck OEM Bob

Actually, I dont even think I'd go 20w50 on these cars...
The heaviest I'd go on any Honda is 10w-40 High Mileage... Valvoline Max Life has worked wonders for me in the past... And I'd have to concur...stay away from synthetics unless you want to start replacing seals...
