Replacing Water Pump and T Belt - what else to remove
94 Legend 4 door
I have a bad water pump and will replace timing belt also. I have two questions. 1. Is there a complete parts list for the combined wp/tb job online somewhere. 2. I have printed out the pages from the svc manual for this job. On page 10-8, the first page of the water pump section, it shows a LOT of parts, ...i.e intake manifold, water passage, throttle body....etc....along with the thermostat housing and water pump. Do I have to remove ALL THESE ITEMS to get to the water pump? If not.....what do I absolutely have to remove to replace the TB and WP. Warren C |

Look at page 10-9. If you are doing a TB then follow the instructions for that, and then remove the bolts for the water pump. Basically if you like a little room, then pull the radiator off without removing the fans (just unplug wires and connectors first), that will give you good room to work on the TB and water pump.
