smoke and temp sensor

i think my head gasket is blown or has a problem cuz theres white smoke coming out of it .and wheres the temp sensor located bcuz my idle keeps rev up and down when im at a complete stop . and my horns not working need advise . and ny the way theres a knock sound when i drive from the engine and its like im loosing power please give me advise

Did you check the easy stuff first, like upper and lower radiator hoses, the radiator itself, and the thermostat? Do you also have white smoke coming from the tail pipe? If you do you have a blown head gasket and you're looking at big $$$$$$$

theres lots of things u can check for: try and get a wiff of the tail pipe, see if it smells like coolant. smell the reservoir, sometimes itll smell like gas fumes, check the oil for a milky substance. are u constantly refilling the coolant? how many miles do you have? or if ur lazy u could simply do a compression test.

it has 196 xxx miles it does have white smoke coming out my tail pipe and if its the head gasket how much im i looking at cuz the head gasket i seen online are 100 for both right and left and where is the temp sensor located

well ur definitely in the mileage range for a possible bhg, and from the symptoms u describe in ur other posts, unfortunately it sounds like thats ur culprit. did u ever get a compression test? head gasket jobs vary depending on ur location...as low as 1400 up to 2400(this is like a acura dealer price); however, u said u had a knocking sound which could possibly be a bad rod, in which case u shud just swap in another engine. as for the temp sensor, if u still wanna change it out, its on the throttle body behind the bleed bolt.
