Transmission issue
I have a 1993 Legend Sedan, and an odd problem occured. I was driving along a i suddenly lost power and my car made a horrid grinding noise. I have not yet had time to open the transmission, but i have a theory about what may have caused it. The 96-98 TL and 96-99 RL had a similar problem with the EXACT same symptoms. Car would suddenly lose power, and it would roll even when placed in park. Since all of these cars fall under the same class, would it be possible that they have the same problem? If anyone else has this issue please contact me, as i would like to find out if this is indeed a major issue, and possibly get Honda to extend the recall to include the 2nd gen legend.

The Legend doesn't have a tranny problem that would warrant a recall (i.e. no threat to safety). The only inherent problem that the Legend transmission has is the rear transmission mount that breaks. It's more of an annoyance than anything. They're also not going to recall a 16 year old car.
Not sure about the grinding noise, but another thing to check is your timing belt.
