Indeed. Go big or stay home!

As it turned out between our three choices , Lake Tahoe, Kicking Horse B.C. and France, it was about the same cash so what the hell.

Against my better judgment I am partaking in the guys annual ski trip this Jan 28th. As some of you know I broke my leg badly 1.5 years ago and it is still not in great shape. I hope to try a few runs locally before we head to French Alps to get an idea of how it will go. No doubt if I can manage to get down without killing myself I will end up skiing alone and on the bunny hills.....

Ski resort France - The 3 Valleys ski resort, France
Holy shit !! 230,000 skiers transported hourly !?!?

And I remember my skiing days in Germany and Austria...never at a place that huge!

WOW !

Good luck, Brian. I know you must be excited yet a bit scared.

I'm thinking we'll need some pics when you get back...

Crazy huh? I am excited and scared yes. If I f*ck my leg up any worse than it is now than I will be a very unhappy camper. A number of people think is it a very bad idea to try skiing still.
My son will be bringing his new camera and I have an I-Phone which by itself takes decent pix so I'll post a bunch. Yummm brie, baguettes, croissants, wine and beer.

Not bad at all.

Should be an awesome trip. Don't worry about the leg too much and enjoy yourself.

here's to no whiteouts and a good safe time skiing! After all, you're from Canada...you don't fall while skiing so all you have to worry about is a bit of bone stress--just don't try the giant downhill yet

Hehe, reminds me of the girls in bikinis on top of the Zugspitze sunning on their skis (propped up on their poles).
