1999 Acura El Passenger Lock Actuator

Hello all! I'm posting here because recently my passenger door lock actuator stopped working.

I took it apart and found out that the 99 EL uses a 4 wire setup where as the american civics use 2 for the lock actuator. My question is when I try to plug in american actuators with 4 pins they keep blowing the circuit while the factory part doesnt hist works very weak.

Can I de solder the motor or switch from a us actuator and use it? I'm out of options and I'm about to just say forget it.

The 2 wire actuators require an electronic drive that delivers different polarity for lock and unlock.

Your car has two coils wound on one bobbin, one for lock a situation, one for unlock.

You cannot use a US actuator, it is not interchangeable.

You need the 4 wire/dual coil part. Your msg is confusingly written, but it sounds like the4 wire part works, but weakly? I'd look for other problem sources in the mechanism, or perhaps the drive electronics. This sounds beyond your ability, so take it to someone who understands electronics.
