2000 TL, 86,000 miles, original tranny, no problems. I had the oiler recall done and it helped. I used to feel a little hitch in my gittyup shifting to 2nd, but not since the mod. I love this car, but since finding out about the tranny issue, I don't feel good when I go out of town, afraid I'll break down on the road.

But so far, so good.

141K on 2002TL

I have 141k on my 2000 TL. One tranny replaced at 119k, no other problems except brake disk warping on front. Bought it new.

1999 Acura 3.2TL

I have finally parked the 99 TL in my backyard storage area and am trying to decide whether to attempt to sell it or donate it. It has 208,596 miles and I've decided not to expend any more financial resources on it. In July 2007 I had the transmission replaced by Eagle Transmission in Arlington, Texas. The car has not been the same since. The torque converter was replaced under warranty, but shortly thereafter the transmission began banging into gears and Eagle Transmission gave up after several attempts to fix this issue, ending after the TL's warranty expired. The power steering pump was replaced twice as was the AC pump and both are now iffy. Eerily, the interior does not reflect the mechanical decline with the exception of the rear view mirror which the Texas heat has practically melted. My 03 TL is still running but only has 66,000 and I believe that this will be my last Acura.

Purchased my 2000 TL new 12/99 with 10 delivery miles.
Now have just over 85,300 miles with the regular weekly or biweekly highway trip of a 150 miles. The Honda Rigeline has replaced the TL as the travel vehicle.

I have 165k on my 2002 TL Type-S. The first trans was replaced at 35K, the second at around 70K. No transmission problems since then. Just got a new rack and pinion because the seals went bad. My rear view mirror exploded a year or so ago, fortunately got a free replacement from the mirror manufacturer. Recently replaced two cracked fog lamp lenses with Lexan from ebay. Today, my lumbar support popped and now doesn't adjust anymore. It doesn't feel comfortable anymore. If anybody has any recommendations, please PM me.
