I don't think the TL will change until 2010. The 3rd gen TL looks great and the Type S just came out for 07 so maybe 2009 the earliest.

The 2009 TL will indeed be all-new. Honda/Acura follows a pretty strict 5 year cycle with a refresh in-between. The 2008 Accord will be all-new. So a year after that, the 09 TL which is based of the Accord should be all-new as well. It's WAY too early for spy shots though. Don't expect to see those until this time next year.

We may all be wrong! According to Motor Trend it's going to be redesigned in 2008:

2008 Future Vehicle Forecast
Unofficial guide to the automotive future

2008 Acura MDX: Redesign.

2008 Acura TL: Redesign. AWD and more power likely.

Then again, it's only a prediction.

Motor Trend is almost certainly wrong.

Let's look at the past trends, the Accord got a redesign for the 03 model year; in 04 the TL got one as well.

Also, consider that the TL got a slight refresh this year, and the TL-S was introduced again. There's simply no way that Honda/Acura would release a refresh and a new trim only to replace it in one year's time.

I'm a honda car salesman. So i'll help to set the record straight. The 08 Accord has been redesigned. But as far as the Acura Counterpart which is the TL as you all know. Won't be redesigned until 2009. And for that guy that decided to post of pic to mislead everyone of what a 09 TL looks like. Nice try, but the pic you posted looks to be a much older TL.

I predict the new TL will show up in October 2008 as a 2009 model year car. Remember that the 01 CL debuted in December 1999 and hit the dealers in February 2000. So its not like they can't sell a 2009 car before 1/1/09.

Where's my Obama Bucks?
