hi hi, i'm new!

sup?
well, i've had my silver 98 integra gs auto for about 2 1/2 years and I haven't been in the phase of modifying her! Now, I'm in my second year of college and making a steady pay.. so I'm all for it. Want to make my baby purrrrr! The only thing I really invested in it over the 2yrs was a sound system. Which I recently finished few weeks ago(money was a big issue)

System wise:
Alpine 9807
Front Speakers: Infinity Kappa 60.5cs, Component Speaker System
Rear Speakers: Infinity Kappa 652.5i,2-Way Speaker
Sub: Elemental Designs e12O.44
Box: Custom e12O.44 Specs
Amp: Phoenix Gold 5.0:1

Performance wise:
AEM CAI (installed it the other day, sounds niceeee)

Exterior wise:
Clear turn signals (bought a week ago or so)

anywho, I'm looking into a new catback exhaust. I don't want it to be crazy ricer loud nor have a big ass cannon. I'm looking for a quiet, yet roars when you open her up type exhaust... and one that looks close to stock.

I've been reading up, and I'm really interested in the Apexi World Sport. The only bad thing I've heard about it, that it hangs to low.(But can be fixed by added extra hangers etc)

I hope to learn quite a bit from this forum..

cya!

edit: I saw on EBAY Apexi WS 2?.. I'd assume 2 was better?

go to www.rs-r.com and check out the Exmag catback--i cant even tell you how many people we here on acuraworld have recommended this system to--i personally have it on my car (also with an aem intake)--looks perfectly clean and sounds great, not ricey all, and like you said u wanted, its quiet until you step on the gas. (hey spyder if you read this post, maybe we should make a sticky about exhausts? i dont mind explaining the systems or how they work/sound but we do get a lot of questions about this same thing)

yea its quiet (i dont think its too quiet) but i wasnt willing to take the chance of having a ricey exhaust or one that i wasnt sure id be happy with, so thats why i went with it and im damn glad i did--not to mention the gains i got out of it were amazing

Yeah welcome to Acuraworld man.

I'd have to point you to the RS*R or Comptech exhausts. Both are quality built, nice sounding exhausts. Neither are ricey at all. I believe that the Comptech might be a little louder.

yeah, I've gone back and forth with the Apexi World Sport II and RS*R ExMag. I'm now leaning towards and 90% sure I'm purchasing the RS*R ExMag. I have to .AVI's of the ExMag and I like it a lot. It sounds like the Apexi WS to me and looks better IMO.

I'm getting mine from an authorized dealer on team-integra for $474shipped. Just going to take me a month to get the money for it.

what exactly do u guys mean by "quiet exhaust". My Fireball catback exhaust will have exactly what i want; a deep low tone, but you can hear it from blocks away.
