2010 MDX Alarm

I bought this MDX used and have been having problems with the alarm going off at random times. is there any way to disarm the system while locking the car? I have tried to WD40 the hood latch and the rear hatch latch too. I've also tried to pull the fuse related to the car alarm but it wasn't easy to tell which fuse was related by looking at the fuse key. Please help otherwise I'll have to bring it back to an Acura dealer and pay through the nose! Thank you!

Lots of views but zero replies, can anyone recommend a fix outside of bringing MDX to the dealer?

Sorry this may be late.

My wife's '05 RL had the same problem. The alarm would go off at random times. Even in the middle of the night! My research here and on other sites showed that it might be the alarm connection on the hood latch. It has an alarm switch attached. So, I learned how to disconnect the switch by unplugging it and sealing the connection with electrical tape.

I may replace the whole hood latch assembly but it's been fine since with no alarm blaring at all hours of the day and night.

Good luck and I hope yours is just as simple of a fix.
