I recently purchased a 2002 rsx type s. You can just slightly hear the vtec kick in at 5800 rpms. My friend has a 2002 type s as well and his screams when it kicks in. He does have aftermarket exhaust on it, but said before he put it on the vtec was still louder then mine is. Any explanation?
