Does anyone have any experience or recommendations for replacing the stock Acura stereo deck with a new one?

For the sake of looks is it possible to take out the stock one and put in a new one and have it fit cleanly? I know the stock one seems to have a 'custom' curvy fit, so I was wondering what others have done. My only reason for wanting to replace it is because I want MP3 and aux audio (or iPod) capability.

Sidenote: I will miss the blinking security light of the stock stereo though.

MEX-BT5700U this is what i have in my 1.6, and the quality is just right i like it. nothing godmode about it though. idk if this will help you though. maybe you can use what i have in your 1.7.
