Is there any difference between an 03 and 04 S2K? I think if I remember correctly, 03 had a 2.0L and 04 had a 2.2L, right?

I am asking this question cuz my mom is finally selling her 02 civic for an S2K:woot:

Correct 04 was the first year for the 2.2. Both are great cars but I feel the 04is a nicer driver (just my opinion). Torque is increased and comes in lower than with the earlier cars. Its just 10 lb ft extra, which doesnt sound like much, but I can really feel the difference. Lots of good mods for all years though and a superb car from the oldest to the newest.

yeah thats what I heard from the dealer, 04-07 S2K was more suitable as a daily driver than the previous years. I guess the older ones revved up to 9k and 04 revved only to 8k.

To me it seems like they should have called the S2K with the 2.2L "Honda S2200", like G35 stands for 3.5L and LS430 stands for 4.3L.

i thought the 2000 was from the idea that the car came out in 2000?

anyway, yes, the 04 is 2.2l and it's much more drivable. with 2.0 liter, unless you rev high you are not going to get any power, which is ok at the track but for normal driving that's not ideal
