05 TL Nav System

After 11 years the nav system won't download the disc. With the radio display and clock going thru the nav, what other alternatives are there to sending the reader to acura at $600 per the dealer estimate.
aftermarket equipment? bypass to just usethe screen for radio display and get accurate clock?

Navigation DVD replacement HELP?

I'm having the same issue! The screen is black but is backlit. Most of the time it is black but occasionally it comes on and asks me to put in the 4 digit code and works for a while. Is it the DVD and if so can I replace the DVD player with a newer version to get better features?
