So my 1991 Acura Integra Ls 5spd no Mods died on me while driving. No check engine lights or anything prior. Seemed fine and sounded normal. Then I put it in 1st to take off from a Red light and it dies. I tried starting it several different times and ways, it cranks but won’t start, tried pop starting and nothing. The 1 times it did partially start it sounded very weak and the exhaust popped, like it got too much fuel or something? I hear the fuel pump turn on when I go to turn it on. It turns over normal like it’s trying to start, it’s not easy turning over so I’m assuming it’s not the Compression. Any thoughts ?

"No Enging Light prior" but does the engine light stay on now?

Main relay failure, common issue, keeps fuel pump from pumping! Replace relay. If not relay, then check fuel pump.

And then there is the distributor, and I think the coil lives inside there too. Happened to me once. The more affordable aftermarket replacement died a month later, and THAT replacement is probably still going.
