Hello everyone new to the forums, I have a nice like new lol 1991 Acura Integra GS. The engine is the original and has 160k on it, new clutch and alternator. Runs like a dream. I decided to tackle the problem with my air conditioner today. It did not have a belt on the compressor, so that is where i began. I ended up pulling the power steering off to access it, and the problem I am having is tightening the belt. I cant figure out how to get rid of the slack. Any input is appreciated, I have scoured google and youtube.

Leave the power steering belt alone. There is a small pulley that is towards the engine and up just a little bit from the AC compressor. That pulley has an adjusting screw on the back side of it facing up towards the top of the engine bay. I believe its a 10mm. The belt needs to loop over the AC compressor, the tensioner (the assembly I just described) and over the crank pulley then the tensioner needs to be adjusted.
