I have a 1993 Legend that starts up perfectly every morning. After Ihve driven it for a while and the engine is hot when I get back in it takes a long time before it will start. The engine turns over but it does not start. After about 15 minutes or so of trying it finally kicks over. I had it in to a mechanic and he said that the problem is the Crank Position Sensor and that in order to replace it they would have to also replac the timing belt. Cost for the repair $1,200.00. that's more than what the cdar is worth.
Has anyone has this same problem and can offer some suggestions as to what it can be. In every other aspect the car runs perfect with just under 200,000 miles.
