Ok i replaced the battery in my 99 TL and didnt realize i should have used a code saver. Now the radio doesnt work. I took off the passenger side wood grain panel and found a serial number, called the dealership where it was purchased and they said the number was no good, they told me to take the radio out of the dash and there should be another number. So i did that and the same number showed up on the underside of the radio. The service manager called Acura head office, they in turn called the radio manufacturer, and they gave him a code. I tried punching in that code, but it still comes up "error". What the heck do i do now? This is the original radio. I did take a few pictures when i had the radio out and i emailed them to the Acura dealer so he could in turn send it to Acura.
Please help me.

I had a similar problem with my TL. I entered the correct radio code but it kept giving me the error code until it eventually locked out on me. What I did was go somewhere with absolutely no radio reception (like an underground parking lot), and entered it there. After that it worked like a charm! Hope this helped and goodluck.
