I have a 2000 Acura Integra and I changed both of the front lower motor mounts, and checked the rear and it is fine. About a month after the change, the drivers side mount blew out again, took it off and discovered that I was given the wrong mount, so I go another mount and replaced it again, and here I am about three months later and the mount is blown out again. Does anyone know what could be causing the lower mounts to blow out consistently like they are doing?? Any help would be appreciated.

One of two things usually cause something like this:

1. An inferior part, purchased cheaply, and then you find out there's a reason why

2. A heavy right foot, coupled directly with reason #1 :)

If you didn't get an OEM mount, buy one....it'll last as long as the original did. If you're having this issue with a genuine Acura part, then you're either running far more horsepower than the car was designed for, or it's time to get a tape measure and be sure that the engine is in the cradle straight.
