I got my 2002 3.5 RL last year and havnt had time to do any mod's to it, but its time now. I have been looking for a good set of rims for it and was shocked to see and RL with LD1 replicas on it. 18's (235/40/18 tires ) and it looked hot. I wish I could have taken some pics to post but I didnt have the camera.

So I went to few places and they all gave me differant stores about wheels for the RL. Some said they wouldnt fit some said they would. but I know for sure that I would not have any problem putting 225/40/18 on it

the rim I was looking to get was a Katana Spazio What you guys think ?

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I was told by a local shop (Stokes in Santa Monica, CA, they are a little pricey but very knowledgable!!!-- sorry, a miniplug for some good guys) that putting 20's (or "Dub's" as the kids call them) on my '00RL would be difficult. Although "difficult" doesn't necessarily mean "impossible", I usually assume that "difficult" can mean "expensive", so I dropped it (besides, I am a cheap bastard, and "dubs" cost "bank").

FYI

I did a search on www.superbuytires.com for the RL's and it only goes up to 19" for the 96-00 but goes up to 20" for the 01 and up.

Those BASTARDS!!!
Okay, I'm not really that mad... but, I didn't know that there was that much of a difference between the 2000 and the 2001!

Oh well... maybe I'll just get some 19's and just call them "Dubs"... "If you squint and shake you head, they look just like 20's!";)
