Wife has fallen in love with a 2002 tl. The car has 59000 miles on it and I can get it for 6800.00. It looks to be in immaculate condition. I searched the Vin and it has had the tranny recall fixed. I do not think the transmission was replaced. What can I expect from this car? Will the tranny hold up? Is the price right? Any help greatly appreciated as she wants to see the car again on Monday. ..Thanks!

Depends on how you drive. If you drive very mild-manneredly, it may be a good car. Generally, however, because of the transmission issues related to the second-generation TL and the fact that it's over a decade old, I usually steer people away from them. For the $7,000 price range, you'd be much better off in a 4 cylinder Accord coupe.
