Long Time No Post....

My mom has a 2004 RL. Dad was driving it one day and in a parking lot it cranked, but didn't start. He got ticked off, called my brother and I, and then when on the phone, it started right up. Classic main Relay. (Although it took me a while to remember-been away from Acura/Honda myself for 15 years)

I ordered from one site and then suddenly they cancelled the order and said it wasn't available.

Ordered from another site and received the part. Had time today to install and when I took off the piece under the dash the relay looked different. One of the plugs fits the relay I have, but the other one doesn't and it seemed reversed/backwards.

Here is what I need to know...

Did I order the wrong part?

Did I receive the wrong part?

Am I looking at the correct relay?

Am I out of my mind?

I know I'm responding to my own thread that I just posted. Is the relay on the left hand side of the steering wheel or right hand side? Closer to the drivers door or center of the car? I think I was looking at the wrong relay.

Anybody have any pictures that are not so close showing the location?

Your looking at the immobilizer control unit. I believe the main relay is on the left of the driver's side.

Thanks for the tips, the main relay is located to the right of the steering wheel and once I found it, it was easy to change.
