Hi, all. Whenever I drive more than 1.5 hours using the built-in turn-by-turn navigation, the entire on-screen experience freezes up. The only way I am able to resolve this issue is by pulling over, turning off the car, then restarting the car. The nav usually picks up where it left off and all is good. Two questions:

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Does anyone know how to "re-boot" the system while the car is operating?

It's DVD based.

where did the car live its whole life? bumpy roads all the time can kill dvd drives over time. try another disc from online, people sell them all over.

It's been only in Southern California its whole life, mostly on freeways.

LOL. Our craptastic slab concrete and pothole ridden freeway system killed it. LOL. I always just blame our shitty so cal roads.
