There are metal anchors along the seam of the leather seat covers (both seats have them...much more pronounced on the driver seat). I actually stopped another Acura TL driver (2011...mine's a 2012) in a parking lot and asked to see his seat...no metal anchors and totally comfortable. He sat in my seat and was horrified.

I've had 4 people sit in the seat and they were all blown away about how bad it is. There is no way every 2012 TL has seats like this.

They have called the Acura rep and they said they are replacing the seat cover. They already replaced the cushion, but I think these cushions have the metal anchors in them so the seat cover will do nothing.

Any similar experience?? I love this car, but it literally hurts to drive.

If it isn't the same as the others on the lot warranty should cover it. Don't take it home until it is as nice as all the others on the lot. My 2012 seats are very comfy.
