My 2012 TL, purchased new, is having some electrical issues. The battery sensor issue reported by others here was fixed by my local Acura dealer after several frustrating attempts (they are starting to seem incompetent to me).
Another very annoying electrical problem I've had since NEW is that the car will not start, and the MID displays the message: "insert key into slot to start." Only then will the car start.
The Acura dealer has replaced the key slot to no effect. Now they tell me that they will call Acura tech support (why haven't they done this already?!!) and keep the car for several days to try to replicate the problem.
Has anyone else had this issue?

do you have keyless entry ? sound like the chip needs to be programmed by the dealership
