I just traded a 2011 Honda Pilot EXL Navi for a new MDX.
The rearview camera is almost useless at night. The image is grainy & very poor. I am forced to use the mirrors because of the shoddy rear backup lights. I have the brightness maxed out.
I have never had this problem with my 2011 Accord or the Pilot I traded in for the Acura.
When I talked to the salesman 2 days after my purchase he told me " this has been a known design issue for years"!
I am a loyal Honda owner since 1985. It disappoints me to know they would be so greedy as to produce an inferior component year after year.
