I recently purchased a 2013 rdx awd. I have noticed a slight rattle sound when driving over a bump or rough surface. It seems to come from the left rear area. Has anyone had an issue like this? Any insights as to what could cause it?

I have the same issue with my 2014 with 53,000 miles. Always been there but getting worse. Have been under car numerous times and tugged, shook and pulled everything I could get my hands on. Even put a piece of carpet under the spare tire thinking it was coming from there. One of those hard to describe noises but I agree a bump or rough road and it is constant. Hopefully someone will post a solution...

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it sounds like something to do with the suspension. I am suspecting a shock absorber but unsure. I have done all those things that you mentioned. Cant replicate. only when driving. I suppose I will try new shocks in the rear. I have 45,000 miles on mine so its about time for new shocks anyway.
