I think you'll have a stronger chance of getting another car if you let them try to fix it. If they fail, you can then say to the dealership, "I gave you three tries to fix the car, and you didn't. Give me a new car." It also strengthens your case if you have to pursue your state's "lemon law" in a legal action.

As to devaluing the car at the end of the lease, I can't see how a factory defect issue, covered under warranty, is going to change the value of the car as long as it gets fixed. It feels like you're deep into looking at worst case scenarios, here. Take a deep breath, let them try to fix the car, and if they can't, then start getting pissed-off and worried. For now, IMHO, you're still in the "stuff happens" phase of this, and shouldn't lose any sleep worrying. It's a new car, and the problem will get resolved one way or the other.
