I took a risk, and am richer for it.
As far as I know, I'm the first to try out the 6000K Osram/Sylvania HID capsules on the TL. I must say, they look sweeeet.

When the lights first light up, the color they produce is an aquamarine azure blue for the first half second of light output.

Once settled, the purity of the light is clearly better in ground illumination pattern. The color temperature is clearly higher, such that when the light is projected onto a white surface, the surface is radiated with a pristine slightly bluish purplish bright white beam.

I got a lot of people staring at me and my headlights tonight. I can't blame them.

Osram specializes in automotive lighting and it's also the brand of our stock HID bulbs. I figure there could be no replacement more suited to our ballasts and ignitors than another genuine Osram product. Made in Germany of course.

I'll see if I can snap a pic later on tonight.

all warmed up

:wired: this is probably the best representation of the operating color temp of the lights. It's a real crisp pure white, with just the slightest hint of violet.
