Hey guys new to the forum. I am looking at getting an Integra but know nothing really about them. looking for a second car and my friend suggested one. I found this car on craigslist. Its a 92 GSR I believe? The guys says it has a broken Cam Sprocket. I want to know how bad this is for this engine. I know some engines if you loose the timing belt or the timing goes and the engine is toast. Can someone let me know it would be very helpful. If this is fixable is it gonna cost an arm and a leg to do.

Thanks

Worst case scenario is you're looking at a new engine. Best case, new timing belt and cam sprocket. More concerning is HOW do you break a cam sprocket?

A 92 GSR is a pretty rare car however. If you have the knowledge to restore it then in stock form it could be fairly valuable down the road. They are starting to get to the point where they are appreciating value instead of losing it.
