Hi there!

The name's Lucas. Long time Acura Forum Reader, First Time Poster.

SO. I installed a new clutch and slave cylinder on my 1994 Acura Integra, and after bleeding the clutch and driving it around for about a day, the clutch loses all tension and is unable to do anything. I've tried re-bleeding the clutch, and then my car works fine, but again, after about a day it loses all tension.

I am extremely confused and have no idea what to do. Please help?

These are the only possible things I can come up with:

1. Worn clutch hose. Can you physically see (or feel) the clutch hose expanding when you press the clutch?

2. Fluid leak (is your fluid level going down?)

3. Defective new parts.

it could be a problem with the slave or master cylinder seals going out. but I would think that it wouldn't hold even once. It does sound like somewhere there is a leak in the system that is either allowing air in, or fluid out. As Tim asked, is your fluid level going down?
