my neighbor just had his timming belt, and all other belts done on his tl, and now his fans come on( on high ) as soon as his ignition comes on (withiut car running ), and they stay on. He tells me that before he had the belt replaced the car never did this. any ideas?

Check the engine around the upper radiator hose neck to see if any of the coolant temp sensors came unplugged.

Check the engine around the upper radiator hose neck to see if any of the coolant temp sensors came unplugged.

Check ALL of the connectors on the top and BOTTOM of the radiator. Check ANY connector around the front of the engine. The connector may be on the sensor, BUT not ALL THE WAY!! Give them all a good PUSH to make sure they are seated.

THINK: If I had to replace the timing belt what electrical connectors would I have to disconnect. Removing the radiator makes the job a lot easier.

Does anyone have an easier way of changing the oil pump without having to remove the engine...??????
