My 97 Integra sterring wheel shake when I'm braking down hill. Can anybody help me with this problem? If upper control arms need to be replace. Can I replaced only the boot and will it help solve the problem?
It only shakes when you're going down a hill and braking? What if you're braking on a flat surface, or uphill? Sounds more like you need to replace the pads and rotors than do anything with control arms. If your upper control arms were worn, replacing the boot wouldn't fix anything, you'd need to replace the ball joint and/or bushings, but since its built into the arm you'd have to replace the entire arm, so in short no, replacing the boot won't accomplish anything.
