:wavey: As we know it's getting cold out and winter is here. As for me my car,
doesn't keep me warm enough, when it should be.
My issue here is when I have my heat on it blows out COLD air.

Let me explain:
I put my heat on. (obviously)
As I am driving it blows out warm/hot air.
When i start pressing on the brake and come to a stop, it starts
blowing out COLD freezing air.

I am not sure what the cause of this would be, maybe a pump i need
to replace? not sure. can someone help me here. Thanks! :uhh:

Check your coolant level......not in the overflow, but in the radiator itself. Do this when the engine is cold. If it appears full, start the car (engine cold) with the radiator cap off, and see if you notice air bubbling up. The air pocket, if there is one, will travel to the highest point in the system, and bleed off. Top off the radiator, and replace the radiator cap (with the engine still running, or you'll get coolant everywhere).

yes AC works.
Also when I disconnect the heater valve cable and open the heater valve,
there appears to have heat. but only from the upper vents, not too much from the foot vents.

I tried to do a diagnostics of the climate control by waiting one minute in ACC mode. then pressing both OFF and AUTO, but I didn't get any diagnostic display
(BTW 97 RL).

I have component diagnostics, yes, but retry the self-diagnostic procedure using the above reference material as a guide, first....then we'll take it from there :)

When you come to a stop, and it blows cold air, can you put the car in park, rev up the engine, and cause the heat to come back on? If so, do you hear anything going on under the dashboard?

Tied rev engine, not much difference in heat output.
Note, upper vents are hotter than foot vents, but not really hot at all.

Also, I hear a ticking sound when ever I press on the gas. Even with AC/Heat system off. Goes away when I let go of the gas pedal. Is this related in any way?

I doubt it...

When your car is at operating temperature, but no heat is coming out, feel the heater hoses, to see if they are hot. You'll also see the water valve, on a bracket attached to the firewall. When you change the temperature inside, can you see this valve move at all?

I have disconnected the cable from the heater valve and opened the valve for heat all the time (swinged towards driver side). This was done because, when the temperature knob is turned, The cable did not move. Even with it disconnected, it does not move, appears stuck.
